Standard Event Authorisation Workflow
Sense sends employee event requests, such as leave requests, to the appropriate manager for approval. If no manager is assigned, admins can handle the request. The employee is notified when the request is approved or declined.
How it works
A default event approval workflow removes ad hoc email chains and gives employees a clear decision trail.
1
Submit event request
Employee submits an event request in the Calendar.
2
Identify the approver
Sense identifies the relevant manager or administrators.
3
Approver notified
The approver receives an email and a To Do.
4
Record decision
Sense records the decision and notifies the employee.
